For whatever reason, today feels like a day for colorful tree paintings. So... with respect to that, here are two of my colorful tree paintings. Both acrylic.

Also, something special is coming in the near future. Stay tuned, folks.

Day Two

Time for another post.

This is a special day, because today you get not one, two, or even three new pieces, but four.

Just don't get used to it. This many pieces in one day will be rare. I'm only one man, after all. Even being as obsessed as I am, there is only so much work I can produce.

For now, enjoy.

What's this you say? A sculpture? Why, yes.  Yes it is. It is folded entirely out of paper, though.   I still can't entirely escape my 2D roots.

This is a slightly older piece. Roundabouts summer 2012. Marker, 11x17.

Mixed media. Watercolor, marker, graphite, charcoal... and maybe some other things. I forget. 20x26

Another academic piece. Colored pencil still life (museum statues). 18x24.

More to come. Soon. Very soon.

Here Goes Nothing

Well, this is it. The beginning. The start of... something.

Hello, world. My name is Eric. I'm an artist.

Though I am still just an art student, I'm about as dedicated as they come. My utter obsession with drawing and painting began before I could talk, and it knows no bounds.

More on that to come. Right now, without further ado, I present two of my more recent pieces:

This was one of the pieces I did during christmas vacation. Colored Pencil, 18x24, 20+ hours

This is one of my academic pieces. Charcoal still life, 18x24.

That's all for today, but rest assured there is a LOT more where that came from. Stay tuned. You'll be glad you did.
