Paper Sculpture

I made a head out of paper with the intention of drawing it to create a 2D piece. Keep an eye out, the resulting piece will appear in a few days.

Intaglio Print, Aquatint

Here is a print I made using the aquatint method. 

Blind Contours

This began as a blind contour drawing (green highlighter), and ended up looking like this. Interesting things happen when you draw without looking.

Conceptualizing Body Parts

Conceptualized body parts in class. These are four of my favorite drawings that came out of it. Pelvis, arm, hand, arm + hand respectively. (Pelvis is 18x24, the rest are from my sketchbook)

I've been working on deconstructing the figure into basic shapes. Art model and taxidermy model harmoniously combine to create something... interesting, if nothing else.
