Simplify, Block It Out
Simplify, they said. Block it out, they said. Break down the human form in order to understand it better. So I did, in this drawing modeled after a painting by Frederic Remington.

Some Improvisation
This drawing came from an assignment. I was supposed to be focusing on the eye. My positioning was pretty poor, however, so I had to improvise. Sometimes the best work comes as a result of having been "in danger," so to speak.

Another Leopard-Heron Opposition Piece

More Blind Contours
These are two drawings that came out of the time I spent creating the larger blind contour collage piece I posted a few weeks ago. Out of the dozens of small blind contour drawings I made for that piece, these two turned out so well that I didn't have the heart to cut them up. Sometimes accidents can be beautiful.
